The BlueFloat Energy and Renantis Partnership has also undertaken outreach towards the local port authorities through meetings, during which technical requirements for port infrastructure have been discussed. This on-going dialogue will help assess the existing infrastructure in the region, map it out against the project needs and identify the gaps so as to make sure that any planned and upcoming investments and upgrades to the harbours meet the specific requirements of the floating wind industry.
As the Petroc project moves ahead, we will soon be adding more information to this page for potential suppliers.
This will include a Supply Chain portal, which will be accessed from this page, allowing you to register as a potential supplier for Petroc wind farm. We will need all kinds of suppliers, from engineering, manufacturing and maritime services, to catering and hotels.
A similar portal will be available for our other Celtic Sea project, Llywelyn, which will be located in Welsh waters. Click here for more information on Llywelyn.
